The Long Beach Children of Christ Community Choir's CD entitled "A Reason To Celebrate" is now in the Word of Life Bookstore. Located at 6321 West Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90043.

LBCC is asking you to please go in and not only purchase the CD but patronize Word of Life Bookstore.

The Long Beach Children of Christ would like to salute and honor our members who had birthday's in the month of August.

DeMetria Washington -Soprano

Meech as she is affectionately known is a devoted member of LBCC. She is somewhat shy but one of the most talented members of the choir. Stay tuned...You will be hearing more of her in the near future.

Rochelle Kilpatrick - Soprano

"One Note" is what we call Rochelle. She has been with the choir for over ten (10) years. She is the lead vocalist on Psalms 19:14 on LBCC's CD entitled "A Reason To Celebrate." She is a loving mother and grandmother.

Min. Darlene Thomas Moore - Soprano

Darlene is an electrifying and anointed singer, preacher, and teacher. You will definitely hear from her in the near future...She is also the wife of Min. Andre T. Moore Sr.

Andre T. Moore Sr. - Minister of Music

Andre has been the Minister of Music for LBCC for the last 21 years. His commitment to excellence is unwavering. He is the lead vocalist on songs such as "He Has Done So Much" "Take It To The Lord In Prayer" and "A Reason To Celebrate" on LBCC's CD.

Madeline A. Paul - Soprano

Madeline has been a part of the choir for over ten (10) years. However, for the last two (2) years she has been battling an illness - Yet she has kept the faith and continues to fight the good fight of faith...Madeline is the inspiration of LBCC.

Radio Host's Ms. Hazel Denard and Elder John Bounds of WAKK 980 AM in McComb, MS have opened the doors for the Long Beach Children of Christ Community Choir to minister to the people of Mississippi via their CD "A Reason To Celebrate."

The CD is also being played in McComb and Natchez, MS on WAKK 980 AM and Centreville, MS on 104.9 FM.

Ms. Denard is on the air Monday-Friday between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and Elder Bounds is on the air between 6:00 am and 8:00 am. Both Ms. Denard and Elder Bounds would like to encourage you to call in and request your favorite song at: 601. 684-6955

LBCC would like to thank all of our family and friends in the Mississippi area for your prayers and support.

The song "Our Father" on LBCC's CD entitled "A Reason To Celebrate" is now being played on KAZI Radio 88.7 FM in Austin, Texas. Our Father is a revised version of the Lord's Prayer, arranged by Andre T. Moore Sr.
